SANJEEVANI, PURNA
Sanjeevani Convent was opened on 16th July 1998 at Purna, Mahararashtra. It comes under Aurangabad Diocese. Sisters undertake social, educational and pastoral ministries. As part of social ministry ,different activities are held for women, children and youth. Tailoring classes are organised for girls in the centre and villages. Women are given training in Income Generating programmes and they are helped to start such programmes. Career guidance for youth, food and nutrition for children and aged, tuition for the school children and community developments programmes, are some other activities of this centre. Networking with the diocesein its education ministry sisters teach in St. Ambrose School run by the parish.
