PAVITRATMA NILAYAM CONVENT, VIZIANAGARAM

Province started mission activities in Vizianagaram on 15th July 1994. At the beginning sisters stayed with St. Ann’s Sisters in Vizianagaram, later on 4thDec. 1994,Pavitratma Nilayam convent was opened at Salipeta Cantonment.

This center undertakes social and pastoral ministries. They organize activities concentrating on women development programs, arranging awareness programmer networking with Bal Vikasa, helping the differently able for education and employment, medical help and assistance to destitute etc.  A boarding   is run for orphan or semi orphan children.  They are sent to school and also given training in dance, music etc. There is also a tailoring unit for stitching uniforms of  schools to support the activities. Sisters are involved in the different parish activities too.

HOLY SPIRIT CONVENT, BALJIPETA

Mission activities in Baljipetta , Andhra Pradesh started on 6th January 1997 staying in a rented house  and later on 18th August, 1999 , the convent was  opened. It comes under Vishakhapatnam Diocese. Sisters are involved in the Education, Social, health and pastoral Ministries. As part of health and social ministry sisters render home based care for the TB/HIV/AIDs patients. They organise community health projects, nutritional help for HIV affected children, skill training and follow up, medical camps, educational help to differently able studentscounselling and awareness programmes. This centre runs a primary school ,Mother Irmina School, as well.
